My BBQ Chicken Wings dinner

This is my BBQ chicken dinner I made last night. Mum wasn't free so I just help her with it. (the experimenting flavors were my idea though hehe) I tried few flavors (garlic, ginger, onions & pepper flavour)  I just seasoned the chicken wings overnight in BBQ sauce and took it out to heat up in to the oven for 20mins at 220 degree celcius before I flip the chicken and bake for another 20mins. to make sure it is fully cooked, later i wrap them in aluminium foil and place my flavors + honey to enhance the taste for another 15-20mins. My bro like the black pepper chicken, I like the ginger taste most. hehe Maybe it's because I personally love ginger alot. hehe .

Ginger flavour honey BBQ chicken.  (after)

Season Chicken in BBQ sauce overnight in the fridge.

Took it out and warm up the oven for 15mins. Heat the chicken at 220 degree celcius in 20 mins and flip chicken for another 20mins before applying honey and heat again for 5-10mins. Chicken should be ready by then. If you want added flavours, try wrap the chicken wings in aluminium foil add in flavours (I strongly recommend ginger) wrap tightly with one small hole for ventilation purposes.

I tried to mix the flavour, ginger with onions & honey  (before)

Onion flavour with honey (before)

This is the strongly recommended ginger flavours before it was sent in for the second round. (before)

Spicy dried chilis and pepper flavour (no honey is added) did not taste spicy though (After)

Garlic with honey flavour. It has a unique taste I think garlic lover will like it too. hehe (Before)

I do not know how fattening all these bbq chicken session will be but it was quite healthy since there is no oil added, only natural flavours (garlic/ginger/onions/peppers/honey) other than the bbq sauce. It took me about an hour plus to finish baking all 10 pieces of chicken wings though.

It's confirmed! (day 5)

in the afternoon and I had the same thing as my breakfast today which is 2 slice of wheat bread with spicy tuna and pamper myself with the ever-so-sweet honey lemonade again.

I took a bold step on the weighing machine.. expecting the positives... and it is confirmed I lost 0.5KG!!! wahahahahaha~~ maybe it is too early to do my little ya-hoo dance now..

I am just worried it will "haunt" me back few days later when I was less aware on my eating habit... and then it all starts over again... it makes me even more determine to continue recording my daily menu now XP

I am not sure whether it was the honey diet which does the trick though but i did drink the honey every single day. Hehe

I don't like the feel of being sleepy and exhausted all time... Got to train myself to sleep earlier and it just makes me thrilling   for the OGAWA whole body massage chair right now....

P/s: Not sure whether your honey is an organic and raw one check this website to find out more (Click Here
I still think if it has a UMF (Unique manuka factor) is the safest... though it is very expensive.. about Rm100+ per bottle =(.. dats why I am only using Pure harvest.. not sure how pure as it claim it is... read a blog review on this product though (Click Here)

Okay.. what I found out is only Manuka honey has UMF number as it is the most research honey.. the rest we will just have to take a wild guess.

Hibernation Diet with honey (Day 2)

I slept 8 hours last night and still had to have mental struggle to wake up this morning! my second day of diet I had 1 tablespoon of milo without sugar as my breakfast drink (and that's all I have.. proud of it XP)

During the afternoon, I was kind of lazy to walk out buy any lunch (looking at the glaring sun). I cooked my own lunch today! I have always like mum's ginger fried rice and all I need are simple ingredients such as overnight cooked rice( I know I said overnight.. but that's what a good fried rice need-overnight rice!), sesame oil, old ginger, egg, abit of chicken stock and voila! From the moment I start cutting the ginger to smallest pieces i can ever cut,  heat the wok pour sesame oil, followed by ginger, rice and finally eggs, fry a couple of times and ta-da! I placed some tomatoes too for beauty and health reason! It all takes me less than 30mins.. and my hunger is satisfied. Plus ginger supposely has some healing effect (good for indigestion) according to the reader digest. Later I went to make a lemonade honey drink too. Am I being too healthy or what =p

Opps.. forgotten to update my dinner menu.. which is totally opposite of the hibernation diet's concept~!!!

I had one chicken mcdeluxe from Mcdonald, half piece of apple pie from Mcdonals, one piece of kuih from stalls... and luckily i am not fancy of soft drinks.. so I skipped that... hehehe I feel guilty and feel good too at the same time.. because the last time I tasted chicken mcdeluxe.. probably was like last year? =p

Anyway dad just update me some shocking news... I am too tired to talk about it now.. going to do abit more of my FYP before going to bed... to be continue tmr! =)

Hibernation Diet with honey (Day 1)

Me at the 1st Fabulous Food Exhibition(I know I am eating again! =p)... huge arms.. can dumb bell lose arms' fats?

SOBss..I am a fatty girl because I can't seem to stop enjoying the good food around me and I don't want to grow anymore fats! I heard a friend lose weight due to her FYP period. Why is that not happening to me? Is it  because I am not taking my FYP serious enough? I wish I could slim down and I wish I could fit back in some of my smaller size clothes!

I stumbled across a diet called the Hibernation Diet (Click Here) which all you have to do is drink 1-2 tablespoon of honey(only organic or raw) before you sleep.. and make sure an 8 hours long sleep plus healthy daily eating and exercise. The researcher who did a research found that it has many more benefits other than slimming down.. one of them is helping people with insomia to sleep better.

I am abit skeptical on this new found research though but will give a try on it starting from today. Luckily there is an organic honey (as claimed on bottle.. could not find their Ureka Manuka Factor though) at home. Will update my result if there is any. hehe! Wish me luck!
